INSTRUCTIONS FOR RESEARCH PAPER The effects of Virtual learning on Child Development 

Research and/or Article due by December 8, 2020

You will write an approximately 4 to 6-page research paper (not including the cover page and reference page) (line spacing ~ 1.5) involving a topic of child psychology. The objectives of this assignment are to allow you to explore a topic of interest to you that we won’t cover in class, and to strengthen your research and writing skills.

You will need to cite at least five references; up to two of these can be from books and the rest from academic journals. You should strive to find the most up-to-date sources. You can use the online library resources and research the topics and obtain the sources that you need.

I will grade the papers based upon style, content, and references.

Style: Is the paper well-structured? Are grammar and spelling correct? Are references cited correctly in the text and at the end? Is the paper a pleasure to read? I strongly recommend that you write your paper a few days early and let it sit so that you can review it with a fresh eye. It is also a good idea to get input from a tutor at the Learning Center.

Content and references: Do you cover the most important points of the issue? Do you have up-to-date information? Were you able to locate the most important sources of information for your topic? Ask for assistance from the librarian if you are struggling finding sources.
