As I move into administration, this course will help me to further analyze public policy and consider the ramifications of policy creation or change. This course helped me to identify the economic and political “landmines” that can come into play with public policy. The requirement to choose and analyze various public policies helped me to recognize how all these factors shape public policy. With career aspirations in public administration, this course will positively impact my career success by increasing my ability to critically analyze public policy and fully recognize the impacts of decisions made in the formulation process.
